Life 🌟

Glad to be back home after vacations, not so glad to be back at work, but clearly I have a better attitude than when I left. The winter solistice brought a lot of rain.

Watching 🖥

• Saw Dune part II, I love watching Denis Villeneue's film, they are complete experience of cinematography, costumes, music. A really full breathing stories.
• Finished seeing Mrs. Davis, what an adventure! There was a lot of food for though on the comparisons between faith and the all knowing AI Mrs. Davis. I really liked the "creator" of the algorithm saying it's just code. The reason it was obsessed with destroying the holy grail feel ver on point with how LLM behaves.
• The Claudia Kishi Club (Netflix), a joyful discussion about the Baby Sitters Club series character as a role model featuring Yumi Sakugawa (whose work I knew from before) among other Asian Americans artists to checkout.
• Also saw Bridgerton season 3 part 2, The ministry of ungentlemanly warfare which where entertaining.

Reading 📚

• Starting the second half of Braiding Sweetgrass I feel I need to take my time with this, It's a mind opening read that requires reflection on part of the reading.

Playing 🎮

• Finished the main Wario Ware Inc, Mega Microgrames levels in the Miyoo Mini Plus.
• Took up Zelda Minish Cap again, soldiering through the Wind Palace.

Cooking and Eating 🍝

• I've been trying to eat healthier by home cooking and eating less meat (not ready to go meatless) I'm going to try and reduce my intake of highly processed foods which for me are:
  • Bagged bread (I mainly eat bagged pita bread) -> ?
  • Cakes and cookies (I love cakes and cookies) -> Probably better homemade
  • Sausages for completos italianos (chilean hot dogs) -> I think the NotDogs are better than the available meatbased sausages, so we'll try that
  • Cereals -> I don't likea eating a huge breakfast so I want to explore my options here.
• Made Beef Bourguinon as a gift for father's day. It was pretty great I followed this recipe whith some adjustments.

Making 🪡

• Made a drawing of a Summer tanger
• Repaired a tear on my oldest black jeans though Ithink it needs to be reinforced.
